1 cake yeast
1/4 c. lukewarm water
1/4 c. sugar (3 T.)
1/4 c. butter or margarine
2 tsp. salt
2 c. milk, scalded
1 egg, beaten
flour, enough so that dough is no longer sticky

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400F. Soften yeast in warm water. Add 1 tsp. of sugar and let yeast proof. In a seperate bowl, add butter or margarine, rest of sugar, and salt to hot milk. Stir until sugar is dissolved then add the yeast mixture. Let cool then and add the egg. Stir flour into liquid mixture. Let rise until double in bulk and punch down. Form rolls and let rise until double in bulk again. Bake for 15-20 minutes.
