Cheesy Brunch Casserole Recipe

3 c. croutons
12 oz. regular pork sausage, browned and drained
2 1/2 c. milk
1/4 tsp. paprika
2 c. cheddar cheese, shredded
4 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. dry mustard

1 can cream mushroom soup
1/2 c. milk
2 T. dry chives

In greased 9x13 pan, layer croutons, cheese and sausage. Combine remaining casserole ingredients in bowl and beat well. Pour over ingredients in pan. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Mix topping ingredients and spread over sausage mixture in pan. Bake for 45-55 minutes at 325 or until edges are golden brown. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
