1 cup shortening
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
1 cup milk
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
4 cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugar. Beat in eggs. Sift dry ingredients. Add to first mixture alternately with the milk and vanilla. Stir well and drop by teaspoon into powered sugar, roll in sugar. Spray cookie sheets with Pam. Bake at 350 for 10 min.

Cookies are somewhat like ladyfingers. May add colored sugar to the powered sugar for a holiday accent. Red and green are nice at Christmas, Aqua blue for a summer party. Use your own creativity.
