Simple syrup is great if you want to do a fruit appetizer.

Mom always used a melon baller and used watermelon, cantaloupe, and honeydew. She then add frozen grapes.

In a cup she then poured a little simple syrup and added some sprite. This is a really fun alternative to a green salad and it looks really pretty.

This is for when you break out the fruit cup dishes you got for your wedding and never used. This is the dish to do it.
