1 C Albers Cornmeal
2 tsp Baking Powder
1 tsp salt
Wiener dogs of choice
2 C sifted flour
1 C milk
1 egg
oil or shortening for deep frying, in pan or deep fryer.
(Use Popsicle Sticks or candy mold sticks for handles.)

Directions:
Directions:
Mix Cornmeal, flour, baking powder and salt, add: egg and milk - mix until smooth (1 Min) Insert stick into end of frank, dip-roll in batter, deep fry for 2 or 3 minutes until golden brown.
(May be used for fresh or defrosted frozen fish fillets or 1 small chicken.)

I kept the mix in a Pancake pour pitcher in the refrigerator and when the kids or grandkids came in from school hungry, I could pour some so they could dip their dogs and I would plug in the little Fry Daddy and quickly fry their snacks.
