8 cups peeled, sliced cucumbers
1 cup celery
1 cup carrots
1 green pepper
1 red pepper
1 large onion
1 tsp. powered alum
1 and 1/2 tbsp. canning salt

Syrup

2 cups sugar
1 cup white vinegar
1 tsp. celery salt
1 tsp mustard seed

Directions:
Directions:
All ingredients are sliced, cut thin or fine.

Make syrup - still well - about 10 minutes for sugar to dissolve. Pour over pickles

STORE IN REFRIGERATOR - MAKES APPROXIMATELY 1 GALLON.
