1/3 cup crushed herb croutons or stuffing
1/4 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
4 oz cream cheese softened
1 1/2 tsp chives
2 T butter, softened
1/2 tsp lemon pepper seasoning
2 cups (or 10 oz cans) cubed cooked chicken
2 oz can (1/3 cup) mushrooms
1 tube (8 oz) refrigerator crescent rolls
3 T melted butter
1 pkg chicken gravy mix
1-2 T chopped chives

Directions:
Directions:
Combine crushed croutons and nuts and set aside. Mix cream cheese, 1 1/2 tsp chives, 2 T butter and seasoning. Stir in chicken and mushrooms and set aside. Separate crescent dough into 8 triangles and spread each with 1/4 cup chicken mixture. Place on ungreased cookie sheet (If made ahead, let stand at room temperature for 1/2 hour). Bake at 375º for 15-20 minutes until brown. Serve with sauce of gravy mix and 1-2 T chives. Serve with rice.
