2 c. boiling water
2 c. Nabisco All Bran
1 c. lard
3 c. sugar
4 eggs - beaten
3 1/2 c. buttermilk
5 c. flour
5 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
4 c. Kellogg's all bran

Directions:
Directions:
Pour water over Nabisco bran and cool. Cream lard & sugar together, add beaten eggs, buttermilk and soaked Nabisco bran. Sift flour, soda and salt together and add to batter. Add Kellogg's all bran. Fold in just to moisten. Makes 1 gallon of batter and will keep 6 weeks in refrigerator. Place in container and cover tightly.

Bake 400º 15 min.
