You will need a candy thermometer for this recipe.
2 c. sugar
1 c. water
1/2 c. light corn syrup
1 tbsp. margarine
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. raw peanuts
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
In a large saucepan, combine sugar, water, light corn syrup, margarine and salt. Heat stirring constantly to 290º (soft crack stage). Stir in peanuts. Cook stirring constantly to 300º (hard crack stage). Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and baking soda. Spread on a greased baking sheet. Cool and break.
