Ingredients:
3 cups milk
1 1/4 cups granulated sugar
1 Tbs butter
2/3 cup flour
cinnamon
1 - 9" pie crust

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour and sugar together. Place into the bottom of pie shell. Add 2 1/2 cups milk (pour it all around the pie). Do not stir milk and flour together!! Dot with butter and sprinkle with cinnamon. Place on baking sheet in the oven heated to 400ºF. Add the remainder of the milk when the pie settles. Bake for 30 minutes. Reduce the heat to 350ºF and bake for 45 minutes longer. Milk will rise and form bubbles when baking; prick bubbles gently with fork. Pie should still be soft when removed from the oven. It will set and be firmer when cool. Do not cut before cooled!!

Personal Notes:
This is my mother's recipe. The pie is commonly called Candy Pie or Milk Tart.
