1 1/2 c butter softened (3 sticks)
1 c sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
3 1/2 c flour
dash of salt
colored sugar or sprinkles (optional)
Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven 375º.
Beat butter on medium speed of electric mixer until creamy. Add sugar, egg and vanilla: beat well. Add flour 1 cup at a time; mix well. dough will be soft: do not refrigerate. Use spritz cookie press.

Bake 10-12 min or until firm but not brown. Cool on baking rack, remove & decorate
