1 pkg of active dry yeast
1/2 cup of warm water
1 tsp of sugar
2 cups of scalded milk cooled to lukewarm
1/2 cup of butter melted
3 large eggs lightly beaten
2 cups + 2 Tsp of flour
1 tsp of salt

Directions:
Directions:
On Saturday night in a large mixing bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water. Add the sugar and let stand for 10 minutes until yeast rises to the top of the liquid. Add the warm milk, butter, and eggs and beat well. Combined the flour and salt and add to the yeast mixture and stir to mix well. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
Sunday morning, stir the batter and place about 1/4 cup of batter onto your hot waffle iron, (more if you have a larger Iron,) and bake until golden brown serve with lots of butter and maple syrup.
