2 punds beef stew meat
2 Tbsp all purpose flour
1/2 tsp each, salt and pepper
2 Tbsp vegetable oil
4 red potatoes ( about 1 pound ), quartered
1 pkg ( 1 pound ) baby carrots
1 lrg yellow onion, cut into wedges
2 cloved garlic, minced
2 c red wine
2 Tbsp chopped parsley
1 Tbsp tomato paste
1/2 pounds green beans, trimmed and chopped

Directions:
Preheat oven to 325º. In plastic food-storage bag, combine first four ingredients; shake to coat beef. In 5 qt oven-proof saucepot, heat oil over medium hear. Brown beef on all sides. Add next seven ingredients;bring to a boil. Remove from heat, cover and bake 1.5 hrs. Stir in beans and bake, uncovered 30 mins or until tender.
