3 cups sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa
1 cup evaporated milk
2 tbsp. corn syrup
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup chopped walnuts
2 tbsp. butter

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all ingredients except vanilla, butter and chopped walnuts and cook, stirring occasionally, to 234º (soft ball stage). Remove from heat and add the butter. Don't stir. Place in sink and cool to 110º. Add vanilla and beat with wooden spoon until no longer glossy. Add walnuts and put in greased 8 x 8 x 2 pan. Refrigerate, covered about 2 hours.
