2 c sugar
1/2 c milk
1 stick margarine
1 - 2 tsp vanilla
3 - 4 T cocoa
1/2 c peanut butter
2 1/2 - 3 c quick cooking oatmeal
1/2 - 1 c chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Boil sugar, milk, margarine and cocoa for 1 - 1 1/2 minutes - start timing after mixture reaches full boil. Remove from heat, add peanut butter, oatmeal, vanilla and nuts. Beat until blended then drop on waxed paper by teaspoons.

You do not bake these cookies. They are fun to make and kids love them - and with the peanut butter, oats and nuts, they do contain some nutrition. Aunt Rita shared this recipe with Mom.
