Margaret's Spaghetti Sauce Recipe

2 tbsp. mazola oil
2 med. size onions (chopped fine)
2 lbs ground meat
3 cloves garlic (chopped fine)
1 green pepper (chopped fine)
2 cans tomatoes
1 6 oz can tomato paste
2 7 oz can tomato sauce
1 small bay leaf
1 small 3 oz B&B mushrooms
salt and pepper to taste
1 pinch of oregano
2 7 oz pkg thin spaghetti

Saute onions in oil, add beer, garlic and pepper. Brown, cook and
stir until meat is crumbly and lightly brown.
Put into large kettle and add remaining ingredients, simmer over
very low flame for 1 hr., stirring periodically. Cook spaghetti,
drain and rinse in cold water. Lightly add 2 tbsp oleo after
returning to pot and warm.
