1 lb lean ground beef
2 cups wagon wheel pasta - uncooked
1 (14 1/2 oz) can stewed tomatoes
1 1/2 cups water
1 (10 oz) box frozen corn
1/2 cup barbecue sauce
salt and pepper
shredded cheese - (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
In a large skillet, cook beef over med. heat 5 minutes or until well browned. Stir in uncooked pasta, tomatoes, water, corn and barbecue sauce; bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer 15 - 20 minutes or until pasta is tender, stirring occasionally. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Have a a bowl of shredded cheese to spoon on top, if desired. Serve with corn bread or corn muffins.

This is a kid favorite. After the meat is browned, let them help add the remaining ingredients.
