1 T. olive oil
1 c. chopped onion
¾ c. chopped green pepper
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 (28 oz.) can crushed tomatoes
1 tsp. pepper
1 c. water
½ tsp. garlic powder
¼ tsp. salt
3 (15 oz) cans black beans, rinsed & drained

Place oil in large pan over med-high heat until hot. Add
onion & green pepper; sauté until tender. Add
remainder of ingredients; bring to boil. Cover, reduce
heat & simmer 20-25 minutes. Serve over rice &
sprinkle with cheese. (Leftovers can be frozen. Try a
wrap w/tortilla, rice, beans, cheese, tomatoes, etc.)
