3 cups chopped apples
1/8 tsp cinnamon
2 Tbsp lemon juice
1/2 cup water
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup flour
1/4 tsp salt
4 Tbsp butter or margarine
3/4 cup sharp cheddar cheese, grated.

Directions:
Directions:
Arrange apples in shallow baking dish. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Mix lemon juice and water, pour over apples. Mix sugar, flour and salt. Melt butter and add to flour mixture. Grate cheese and add to flour mixture. Will be crumbly. Sprinkle over apples. Bake at 350º for 30 to 40 minutes.
