30 saltines
1/2 cup melted butter
3 cups thinly sliced onions
1/2 pd sharp chedddar
1 1/2 cups scalded milk
3 beaten eggs
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Place crushed crackers in an 8" square pan and pour 1/2 cup melted butter over crackers. Saute the onions in 1/4 cup of melted butter. Pour over crackers and sprinkle with cheese. Cover with milk, eggs, salt and pepper. Bake at 350º for 1/2 an hour.
