For the cookie:

2 sticks butter
2 cups light brown sugar
2 eggs
1 teapoon vanilla extract
3 cups all purpose flour
6 tablespoons cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking powder

For the Icing:

1 stick sweet butter
2 cups confectioners sugar
1 cup cream cheese
1/2 cocoa
1/2 crushed candies or sprinkles

Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Line 2 9 inch round pans with
parchment paper. Beat the butter and sugar together. Add the
eggs and vanilla extract. Sift the flour, cocoa powder and
baking soda. Stir into batter. Divide the dough into two and
spread in each pan. Bake for 20 minutes until golden.

For the Icing:

Beat the butter and confectioners sugar together. Next, beat in
the cream cheese and cocoa. Spread the icing on cool cookie
and add second layer. Repeat with icing. Add crushed candy
for topping.
