Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
This recipe was from Mrs. Klopp, my sixth grade teacher, but dated December 1955 when I was a senior in high school and Marilyn would have been in the sixth grade. Regrettably, small town schools are a remnant of our history where teachers knew not only siblings who attended all 12 years, but multi-generations who attended the same school. After three of us passed through her sixth grade, Mrs. Klopp knew the family well enough where sharing recipes took precedence over discussing grades.
