1 (3/12/ to 4 pound) broiler-fryer
4 quarts of water
2 boullion chicken cubs or 8 oz. chicken broth
1 1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teapoon pepper
1/2 stick butter
2/3 cup milk

For the Dumplings:

1 package (12 OZ) Frozen Mary B's Open Kettle Dumplings

Directions:
Directions:
Combine first 6 ingredients in a dutch oven. Bring to a boil;
cover, reduce heat, and simmer 1 1/2 hour or until chicken is
tender. Remove skin and bones. Return chicken to pan. Add
milk. Drop dumplings into boiling water.

For the Dumplings: 1 package (12 os.) Mary B's open Kettle
frozen dumplings. Bring broth mixture in Dutch oven to a boil;
drop dumplings , one at a time into boiling water. Reduce heat,
cover and cook for 35-45 minutes or until done. Serve Hot.

Isabelle had Chicken N Dumpllings about everyday during her
2 1/2 years of treatment. She would call her nanny from St.
Jude and request this recipe for when she arrived home.
Isabelle's nanny would also bring them to St. Jude if she had to
spend night at St. Jude!
