1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. white Karo syrup
1/2 tsp. salt
1 lb raw peanuts
4 T. butter
1 tsp. baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Heat sugar, syrup and salt in iron skillet until clear, add peanuts. Cook, stirring constantly until amber color. Remove from heat and add butter. Stir. When butter is melted, add soda and beat.

Pour onto buttered cookie sheet with sides. Let stand until cool enough to handle. Break into pieces.
