Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1-2 beef round teaks tenderized
2-3 cup of flour
1 tsp of garlic salt
1 tsp of pepper
1/2 tsp of salt
1/2 tsp of paprika
1 cup of Crisco for frying ( maybe more)

Directions:
Directions:
Get out the deepest iron skillet you have and add the Crisco and heat over low heat. Mom used to lay the round steak out on a board and flour it and take a saucer and use the edge of it to lightly pound the steak one way, and then another, cut into serving pieces and dampen it slightly and dredge it in the seasoned flour. Place the pieces into the hot grease in the skillet. Cook for about 5 minutes on each side and remove to a hot platter. When all of the steak is fried drain most of the fat from the skillet, reserve about 4 Tsp. of the fat and all of the cracklings. Add about 2 heaping Tsp of flour to the grease and stir and cook for about 4 minutes. Stir in about 3 cups of cold milk stirring to avoid lumps until the gravy comes to a slight simmer. It will thicken and become smooth cream gravy, serve on bread or boiled potatoes.
