1 bunch of leaf Lettuce
1-2 bunches of green onions
1 lb of bacon
1 cup of vinegar
1 Tsp of sugar
Garlic salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Wash and cut lettuce into 1/2 in strips. Place in a large bowl, and add chopped green onions. Chop the lb of bacon and place in a sauce pan and fry crisp. When bacon is crisp add the sugar and vinegar( you may want to stand back from the pan when pouring the vinegar in, because the vinegar fumes may choke you) let it just come to a boil and then pour over the salad and toss well salt and pepper to taste and toss again. Serve immediately.

This is one of our favorites. We would have this in the summer and mom would just fix things she picked out of the garden. This was one of those things. We still love to get together and fix this.
