Ingredients:  
1 (32 oz.) pkg. – hash browns, thaw slightly
1 tsp. – salt
¼ c. – onion, chopped (optional)
2 c. – corn flakes, crushed
1 can – cream of chicken soup
½ c. – butter, melted
2 c. – sharp cheese, grated
1 c. – sour cream (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Place potatoes in heavily greased large casserole. Combine onions, soup, cheese, and salt and pepper; pour over potatoes and mix. Mix crushed corn flakes with melted butter and sprinkle over potatoes. Bake, uncovered, at 350º for 45 minutes.
