1 cup sugar
1 cube butter
1 egg
1 cup persimmon pulp
1 1/2 cups flour
1/2 tsp allspice
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
1/2 cup raisins
2 tsp baking soda
1 lemon (1/4 cup grated rind and 1/2 cup juice)

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all ingredients and pour into a greased and floured loaf pan. Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes at 325.
