4 cups of sugar
4 cups of vinegar
1/2 cup of salt
1 1/3 tsp of turmeric
1 1/3 tsp of celery seed
1 1/2 tsp of whole mustard seed
2 large onions
16 or more small cucumbers washed and sliced
( Enough to fill a glass gallon jar)

Directions:
Directions:
Layer onions and cucumbers in a gallon jar. Mix the remaining ingredients in a large pitcher and stir well. Pour over cucumbers and onions make sure to cover. Put on the lid and sit in the refrigerator for at least 5 days.
