2 minced garlic cloves, 1 1/2 c. chopped onions, 1 1/2 c. green pepper, 4 T. butter, 1 1/2 lbs. ground beef, 1 can 15 oz kidney beans, 2 cans (1 lb. each) diced or whole tomatoes, 3 tsp. chili powder, 1 1/2 tsp. salt, 1/4 tsp. pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Saute garlic, onions and green pepper in butter until tender. Add ground meat and cook until no longer red. Add kidney beans, tomatoes, chili powder, salt and pepper. Simmer uncovered 30 minutes. Double recipe if desired.
