Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
In Grandma's day, when cows provided the family with an ample supply of milk, good cooks never wasted the excess, but used their imagination to incorporate the dairy products into their meal preparation. The sour cream, butter and milk in this cookie recipe make a delicious treat from this farm produce. The eggs and lard would also have come from the barnyard.
