2-3 ripe avocados, peeled, pitted and mashed with a fork
2 Tbsp. to 1/4 cup minced onion
2 Tbsp. mayonnaise or sour cream
2 Tbsp. picante sauce
1/4 tsp. garlic powder or garlic salt
1/2 ground cumin
1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper (ground red pepper)
1/4 tsp. lemon pepper
salt and pepper to taste
fresh lime juice (1 lime)
1/4 to 1/2 cup fresh cilantro leaves, (mince or snip into small pieces)

My favorite combinations:
1) Avocado, sour cream, fresh lime juice, onion, cilantro and garlic salt or powder.
2) Avocado, mayo, onion, garlic, picante, cumin, cayenne pepper, salt, pepper, lemon pepper
3) Avocado, sour cream, picante, garlic salt, onion
Serve with tortilla chips and salsa and a side of sour cream.
