1 lb. ground beef,
1 c. bread crumbs,
1 egg, slightly beaten,
2 tb. minced fresh onion,
2 tb. milk,
1 clove minced garlic,
1 tsp. salt,
dash pepper,
1 tb. vegetable oil,
2/3 c. chili sauce,
2/3 c. grape jelly

Combine first 8 ingredients and form bit size balls. Brown in oil. Cover and simmer 10 minutes, drain. Combine chili sauce and grape jelly over heat. Pour over meatballs. Heat and stir until well mixed, about 10-12 minutes.

I got this recipe from Samantha's great grandmother. She was one of my favorite people - even though she could be difficult at times. We used to talk for hours. She helped my mother and me roll 800 meatballs for my wedding.
