3 1/2 C Flour
1 C Sugar
1 1/2 tsp. Baking Powder
1/2 tsp. Baking Soda
1/2 tsp. Salt
1 Tsp. Nutmeg
1 tsp. Cinnamon
1 C Shortening (all butter or 1/2 butter 1/2 margarine)
1 Egg
1/2 C Milk
1/2 tsp Vanilla
1 1/4 C Raisins

Directions:
Directions:
Sift dry indgredients into bowl; cut in shortening as for pie crust. Beat egg, milk and vanilla, then add to flour mixture. Mix in raisins. Stir until all indredients are moistened and dough holds together. Roll out into 1/4 inch thickness on lightly floured board. Cut with 2" round cutter. Heat griddle to 325 or until a few drops of water dance on it. Oil lightly, place cookies on top and cook like pancakes 3 to 4 minutes.
