2&1/2 c. flour
1 T. plus 1 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
1&1/2 T. sugar
2 large eggs, beaten
2 &1/2 c. milk
3/4 c. vegetable oil

Directions:
Directions:
Combine dry ingredients in a large bowl.
Combine eggs, milk, and oil; add to flour mixture, stirring with a wire whisk just until dry ingredients are moistened.
Cook in a preheated, oiled waffle iron until golden brown.

For Pecan Waffles, add 1/2 c. finely chopped pecans to batter before baking.
