1 lb coarsley ground buffalo or venison
2 tbsp cooking oil
1 to 2 c each onions and green peppers
2 can diced tomatoes
1 can dark red beans (rinsed and drained)
11/2 c tomato juice
1 can pinto beans (rinsed and drained)
1 - 4 oz green chilis (chopped)
2 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp pepper
1 tsp salt (optional)

Directions:
In a large skillet, brown meat and drain, add onions and green pepper. Saute for 5 minutes. Stir in all remaining ingredients and bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer for 1 1/2 to 2 hours until meat is tender.
