2 cups of flour
3 tsp of baking powder
1 tsp of salt
1/2 tsp of cream of tarter
1 Tbsp of sugar
1/4 cup of shortening
3/4 cup of milk

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400º
Sift together the dry ingredients. Cut in the shortening until well distributed. Pour in milk and with a fork start to gather the dough into a ball. Roll the dough ball out onto a floured surface and knead lightly for about 6-7 times. Slightly flatten out the dough and cut biscuits with a cutter and place them on a lightly greased sheet pan, Bake for about 12 minutes or until golden brown. Do not over cook.
