1 cup of flour
1 tsp of baking soda
1/2 tsp of salt
1/4 cup of sugar
1 egg
1 cup of buttermilk
2 Tsp of bacon grease

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375º

Mix the above ingredients and beat for one minute with a wooden spoon. Pour batter into a 9x9 inch well greased baking pan and bake for about 20 minutes.
