2 cans of french cut green beans
1 can of mushrooms stems and pieces
1/2 lb of bacon diced and fried crisp
1 1/2 cups of cream
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Open the green beans, drain and reserve the liquid in a heavy sauce pan. Cook to reduce the liquid down to about 1/3 of the original volume. Add the green beans and the drained mushroom, boil for about 5 minutes. Add the cream and heat to boiling but do not boil. Fry the bacon until crisp and garnish the beans with the bacon.

These are really my Aunt Nila's green beans, I remember she would fix them when she would fry her home grown chickens in about 1964. I have made these at every holiday for years.
