1/3 c shortening
2 c brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. salt
2/3 c thick sour cream

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla - mix well. Sift dry ingredients together and add sour cream. Add to creamed mixture. Mix well. Drop from tsp. on greased pan.

Bake at 350 degrees for 12 minutes.
