3 Lbs of cabbage shredded
2 green peppers chopped
Tsp of minced fresh pimento for color (Optional)
1 large onion minced
2 cups of sugar
1 cup of vegetable oil
1 cup of vinegar
1 tsp of dry mustard
1tsp of celery seed
1 tsp of salt

Directions:
Directions:
Mix the cabbage, onion, and minced pepper together and sprinkle with sugar. Mix well and let stand for 15 minutes. Mix the remaining ingredients together in a sauce pan and bring to a boil. Pour over the cabbage mixture and mix well. cover and let stand in refrigerator for at least 2 hour before serving.
