7-8 large red potatoes boiled with the jackets on (unpeeled)
16 eggs hard boiled
1 heaping Tbs of minced bell pepper
5-6 young green onions chopped
1 Tsp of minced pimento
1/4 cup of minced onion
1 cup of chopped celery
1 Tsp of sweet pickle relish
1/2 cup of chopped dill pickle
1 Tsp of yellow mustard
1/4 tsp of black pepper
1 tsp of garlic salt
1/4 tsp of celery salt
2 cups of real mayonnaise
1 Tsp of vinegar

Directions:
Wash and boil potatoes in salt water until tender but not mushy. Drain and let cool just long enough to handle, then peel and dice potatoes into a large mixing bowl. Peel and chop the eggs and add to the potatoes. Mix the remaining ingredients and make sure that it is all incorporated. Adjust salt and seasonings to taste. Also if it seems a little dry add more mayonnaise. Sometimes I even add a little milk to thin if necessary.

Mom used to make this when ever we had a picnic. Every year on the Fourth of July we went to Glade Park and she fried chicken on a camp fire and she would take her potato salad to go with it.
