6 Potatoes (2 1/2 lbs)
3/4 cup of water
1/2 cup of butter
1 envelope of dry onion soup mix

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º Wash and slice unpeeled potatoes into 1/4 in slices. Melt the butter in the hot water and add the dry onion soup mixture. In a 2 quart casserole layer the potatoes and liquid Soup mix. Bake covered for about 1 hour. These will hold in the oven if you prepare them ahead. They are very good warmed up the next day.
