2 cups of apples peeled and chopped fine
1 cup of sugar
1 stick of butter melted
1 egg
1 1/2 cups of flour
1 tsp of baking soda
1/4 tsp of salt
1/2 tsp of cinnamon
1/2 cup of chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º In a large bowl combined the peeled and chopped apples with the sugar and let stand for 30 minutes. In another bowl combined the dry ingredients. Mix the apple mixture with the eggs, butter and nuts, then add the dry ingredients and mix until everything is incorporated. Pour into a prepared 13x9 cake pan and bake for 30 minutes. This is great with Grandma's frosting.
