1 14 oz. pkg. of vanilla caramels
1 can of evaporated milk
1 German chocolate cake mix
3/4 cup of butter
1 pkg of semi sweet chocolate pieces
2 cups of chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º In a sauce pan melt the camels in the evaporated milk. Prepare the cake as directed on the box, but use only 1/2 of the oil called for and substitute the 3/4 cup of melted butter. Spread 1/2 of the batter in a prepared 13x9 cake pan, and pour on the Carmel mixture and spread to the edges of the pan. Sprinkle 1 cup of the chocolate pieces and 1 cup of the pecans over the Carmel. Pour the remaining batter over the carmel and spread to the edges of the pan. Bake for 35-45 minutes. When cake is done melt the remaining chips and spread over the warm cake and sprinkle with the remaining nuts.
