3 c. sugar
1 c. oil
2 c. canned pumpkin (#303 size can)
3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. ground cloves
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350. In a bowl stir together dry ingredients. In another larger bowl blend with electric mixer the eggs, pumpkin and oil. Add dry ingredients and continue mixing until smooth. Pour into ungreased bunt or angel food cake pan. Bake for 1 hr. 15 min. Cool in pan before turning out onto plate. For a delicious dessert, top slices with whipped cream.
