1 pkg of dry yeast
1/4 cup of warm water
1 heaping cup of creamed cottage cheese
2 tbsp of sugar
1 tbsp of minced onion
1 tsp of butter
2 tsp of dill seed
1 tbsp of salt
1/4 tsp of bakiing soda
1 egg
2 1/4 to2 1/2 cups of flour

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. In a large mixing bowl combined the warm water, yeast and sugar, stir to dissolve. Heat the cottage cheese to lukewarm. Combined the yeast mixture, cottage cheese, onion, butter, egg, salt, soda, and dill seed. Add the flour a little at a time until you have made a rather stiff dough. Beat this batter well, and let rise until double in bulk. (about 35 minutes) Beat down the batter and turn out into a well greased 2 quart casserole. Let rise 30-40 minutes and place in oven and bake for 40 to 50 minutes until it is golden brown. When the loaf is done remove from the oven and brush with melted butter and sprinkle with salt.
