1 cup sugar
2 cups oatmeal
1 cup shortening
1/2 cup sour milk
1 teaspoon baking soda
2-1/2 cups flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
FILLING
1 cup ground raisins
1 tablespoon flour
1 cup water
1/2 cup sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Measure sugar and oatmeal into large bowl - add shortening and cut like pie crust. Combine soda and sour milk - then add it, flour, salt and vanilla to oatmeal mix. Mix well - chill. Roll thin and cut with cookie cutter. Bake at 375º for 5 to 7 minutes.
SAUCE
Put ingredients into saucepan and bring to boil - simmer until thick. Cool. Put 1 teaspoon filling on half of baked cookies. Cover with other half.
