1/4 tsp. alum
1 c. vinegar
3 c. water
1/2 c. coarse salt
clove garlic
dill
cucumbers

Directions:
Directions:
Mix alum, vinegar, water and salt together and bring to a boil. Pour over cucumbers. Put garlic and dill on top of pickles. Seal while hot.
