garlic powder
plain salt

Directions:
Directions:
Wash meat good with cold water and dry with paper towel. Place meat on large sheet of aluminum foil. Rub meat good with garlic powder. Sprankle lightly with salt. Use no pepper. Lizzie says pepper makes meat tough.

Take one pkg. dry onion soup mix and rub each side of roast good. Put extra mix on top. Wrap in foil and cook til done-- at least 1 1/2 hours.

If preferred, add carrots and potatoes during the last half hour of cooking. Lizzie uses small canned potatoes and parboils the carrots for about 10 minutes before she adds them to the roast
